Booking Terms

Here are the pricing details to keep in mind while choosing your menu. Online booking is not available yet; choosing dishes does not reserve a date or send a request.

Prices, tax, and service fee

Prices are in US dollars, plus 7% tax and a 2% service fee. The final total is rounded to the nearest whole dollar: amounts below 50 cents round down; 50 cents and above round up. Menu prices, child rates, optional extras, and any minimum charge are shown with each menu.

Party size and minimum charges

Two paying children count as one adult toward group pricing and minimum charges. For menus with a minimum charge, smaller parties are welcome and pay at least that amount. Other menus have their own minimum guest count or small-group rate, as shown in the menu.

Availability and payment

We confirm availability before collecting a 50% deposit to reserve your date and time. The remaining 50% is charged to the same card 24 hours before service. Aruba Your Way collects both payments; no cash balance is due to the chef.

Private chefs often book weeks or even months ahead. Please request your date as early as possible.

Please request service at least 24 hours ahead. This is a minimum notice period, not a guarantee of availability. All dates, times, and cancellation deadlines use Aruba time. Floating Boards are available from 10am.

Cancellation

• More than 7 days before service: half the deposit is refunded. You forfeit 25% of the full booking total.
• 7 days until more than 24 hours before service: the full 50% deposit is nonrefundable.
• 24 hours or less before service: the full booking price is nonrefundable.

For a $1,000 booking, the deposit is $500. Cancelling more than 7 days ahead returns $250; cancelling within 7 days but more than 24 hours ahead returns none of the deposit. At 24 hours, the $500 balance becomes due and the full $1,000 is nonrefundable.

If Aruba Your Way cancels your meal, all payments made for that booking are refunded in full.

Changing your date or time

Please request date or time changes more than 72 hours before service. Requests are subject to availability and your chef’s approval; they are not guaranteed. Changes are not permitted within 72 hours unless the chef agrees to an exception. Your existing reservation remains in place until we confirm a change.

Children, your kitchen, and tips

Children under four eat free on all meal menus. Floating Boards are priced by the board size shown.

Please have the kitchen clean and ready to use when your chef arrives. Otherwise, an additional $50 cleaning fee applies. Tips are not included but appreciated.

Online booking is not open yet. No card is collected and no payment is taken through this website at present.
